Descripción
Sumario:This essay aims to reflect on the similarities between Frame Semantics (FILLMORE 1982, 1985) and Lexicography. To this proposal, two distinct biases but complementary are considered. One of them concerns the interface between Frame Semantics and Computational Lexicography. This first perspective obligatorily refers to the Frame Semantics and its computer counterpart, the database FrameNet, as well as to consider the effervescent context in which lies the Fillmore project. The other bias through which to address the interface takes into account the approach of not only Frame Semantics, but also the Cognitive Semantics in broader terms, with traditional lexicography. We will highlight the notion of semantic frame in this new research scenario.
