Sumario:This work results from a theoretical exercise that promotes a conceptual and philosophical exchange between the concept of organization, in organization studies, and Amerindian perspectivism, in anthropology. We aim to propose a new way of rethinking the very concept of organization. For this exercise in rethinking, we draw on a philosophical translation of Amerindian thought proposed by Viveiros de Castro as a substrate. We highlight three main possibilities: to distinguish between what organization is and the potential to organize, directing studies towards organizational modes rather than towards organized objects; to understand the concept of organization as both potential and actual multiplicity, as a rhizomatic substrate; and outlining the potential o for establishing relations of analysis based on differences rather than commonalities.
