| Summary: | Smart Tourism Destinations (STD) can be perceived as places that use the technological resources, tools and techniques available to allow demand and supply to co-create value, pleasure and experiences for the tourist and wealth, profit and benefits for organizations and destinations. Spain has achieved significant results in tourism, and in order to maintain its position in the market, the country has developed a STD project as a competitive strategy. This study analyzed the indicators of the Spanish model of the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies (INVAT.TUR): Governance, Sustainability, Connectivity, Sensing, Information and Innovation System. This research is characterized as a theoretical essay, exploratory with a qualitative approach, carried out through bibliographic review. It is concluded that the INVAT.TUR Model has a planning based on strategies for tourism development, with emphasis on innovative management, technological infrastructure, urban development based on economic growth and development. |
