Sumario:This article presents the results of an inventory of birds and fishes carried out in the Braço Morto Lake, Imbé, northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul, which were used for the development of visual media for environmental awareness purposes and with a view to the preservation of species and the environment. The inventory took place between June 2019 and February 2020. For the avifauna survey a Sv 49 monocular lens was used and for the ichthyofauna a puçá, covo and gillnet were used, in addition to the use of identification guides. Based on the biological data, information boards were made and installed at the site. An Instagram® page was also developed for the dissemination of the project and its results, which can be constantly updated.
