Descrição
Resumo:This paper considers sexuality in children's literature. The research focuses on those works whose contents have been the object of controversy, as a result of the impact from Cancel Culture perspectives, as their contents have been considered inappropriate for children. A qualitative analysis of the works has been carried out, categorized into two categories: those dealing with sexuality in general and those specific to the LGTBI+ collective. We proceeded to design an analysis instrument, with inductive categories, based on their textual and visual contents. Using the ATLAS-Ti program, these contents were analyzed and a comparative study was subsequently carried out. The results indicate that Cancel Culture has a considerable impact, being the LGTBI+ the most questioned group, which is also characterized by their argumentative events or literary categories, among other issues.
