Resumo:Knowing that the social reproduction of family farming consolidates the diversification of sources of income and their ability to adapt to the new social contexts of modernity, the question is: what are the income strategies of family farmers? Therefore, we tried to analyze the income strategies of a representative group of farmers in the municipality of Itapejara D'Oeste categorized between groups of high and low income in 2005 and 2010. As a result identified that the increase in income was due the junction of grains and milk binomial with the possibility of having greater access to arable agriculture; as well as the opportunity to have a non-farm income.
