description In this research, we sought to present data on hate crimes in the state of Goiás for the years 2017 to 2022. Then, the local context of the state was presented and the relevant categories for research were delimited, namely, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, and gender identity. These were selected based on Ordinance No. 323 of the Civil Police of the State of Goiás, which established the competences of the Specialized Group in Assistance to Victims of Racial Crimes and Intolerance - GEACRI - for the investigation and repression of crimes motivated by racism, xenophobia, LGBTphobia and religious intolerance. Finally, the data obtained were presented, in an analysis that demonstrated the importance of this public security action to better visualize victimization by hate crimes in the state.

Comienza discutiendo las dificultades identificadas en la producción de datos sobre estos delitos. A continuación, se presenta el contexto local del estado y se delimitan las categorías relevantes para la investigación, a saber, raza, etnia, nacionalidad, orientación sexual e identidad de género. Estas fueron seleccionadas con base en la Ordenanza nº 323 de la Policía Civil del Estado de Goiás, que establece las competencias del Grupo Especializado de Atención a las Víctimas de Crímenes Raciales e Intolerancia (Geacri) para la investigación y represión de los crímenes motivados por racismo, xenofobia, LGBTfobia e intolerancia religiosa. Finalmente, los datos obtenidos se presentan en un análisis que demuestra la importancia de esta acción de seguridad pública para tener una mejor visión de la victimización por delitos de odio en el Estado.Esta pesquisa busca apresentar os dados sobre crimes de ódio no estado de Goiás referentes aos anos de 2017 a 2022. De início, são discutidas as dificuldades identificadas para a produção de dados sobre esses delitos. Em seguida, é apresentado o contexto local do estado e delimitadas as categorias relevantes para a pesquisa, quais sejam, raça, etnia, nacionalidade, orientação sexual e identidade de gênero. Estas foram selecionadas com base na Portaria nº 323, da Polícia Civil do Estado de Goiás, que fixou as competências do Grupo Especializado no Atendimento à Vítima de Crimes Raciais e de Intolerância (Geacri) para a apuração e repressão de delitos motivados por racismo, xenofobia, LGBTfobia e intolerância religiosa.
