| Sumario: | The susceptibility of B. straminea from the rnunicipality of Taubaté, state of São Paulo, Brazil and of B. tenagophila to infection by strain of Schistosoma mansoni isolated in São José dos Campos (state of São Paulo) was comparatively tested under laboratory conditions. B. straminea specimens showed no susceptibility to infection by the strain employed while B. tenagophila showed susceptibility with the infection rates of 82.2, 86.6 and 83.2%, respectively for lots of 100, 100 and 50 specimens submitted to 5, 10 and 20 miracidia. |
