Discriminant analysis indicated that the most discriminant variables in the groups were (1) the quantity of failed courses; (2) the hours of study a week; followed by (3) the practice area; and (4) gender.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo evidenciar os fatores discriminantes referente aos estilos de aprendizagem dos acadêmicos do curso de Ciências Contábeis da UFMS-CPTL. A aplicação do método Kolb demonstrou que o estilo de aprendizagem ‘assimilador’ foi o que mais predominou na amostra investigada, corroborando com os achados de vários autores dessa temática.
