Descripción
Sumario:The Environmental Education (EA) in Early Childhood Education (EI) is the core of this article that resulted from a master's research carried out in the city of Rio Claro-SP, in addition to seeking to contribute to the lack of research on this theme. It focused on a diagnostic study of the insertion of AE in IE in the city of Rio Claro. It is a qualitative methodology research, and in this article it’s presented an excerpt of the research, exposing the analysis of data obtained through semi-structured interviews with teachers who assist students in the age group of 4 to 5 yearsold. As a theoretical foundation, we explore the studies of Historical-Cultural Theory and those involving Critical EA. We found practices that are moving towards critical environmental education, which allows us to consider that there are similarities and intersections between EE and EI, showing signs of intertwining with the critical perspective in their ethical, political and aesthetic dimensions.
