Description
Summary:This study aimed to describe the application of Scrum, model of project management, in a development project of a greenhouse for growing vegetables. In this work was used the Scrum model adapted to the educational environment (eduScrum), as a way to better manage the greenhouse development steps. For the execution of the project, we used a cross-functional team, which had expertise in the area of production engineering, manufacturing, mechatronics and agriculture. As a result of the application of Scrum model, one can see that the project was executed within the predetermined time and one of the factors that support for it was the gates system, which allowed greater control of the project. In addition, it was determined, also a set of performance indicators, which assisted in the conduct of the development stages of the greenhouse. Therefore, it was concluded that the Scrum model used was of fundamental importance for the successful outcome of the project.
