| Resumo: | This paper, from the theoretical perspective of French Discourse Analysis (PÊCHEUX, 1997), mobilizing notions such as subjection and body, examines some posts by Marcha das Vadias de Brasília (The SlutWalk from Brasília), published on Marcha das Vadias Facebook page and also some newspaper articles on Tubby and Lulu cellphone applications. In these applications, men and women are assessed for their sexual performance. During our analysis, we demonstrate how machismo and feminism are placed in confrontation when a saying about male and female sexuality is produced. In the network society, where people are constantly attached to their phones and their applications, there exists a circulation of discourses which uphold male dominance over women. However, there also exists, in this very same network, the creation of spaces of resistance which seek to question certain meanings imposed on woman and her body by a patriarchal society. |
