Sumario:This article aims to analyze the mobilization of gender in the campaigns of Raquel Lyra and Marília Arraes for the government of Pernambuco in 2022. We questioned whether there was gender mobilization in the campaigns of the dispute in Pernambuco and, if so: how is gender mobilized? What is the nature of the gender approach? There is reinforcement or questioning of gender stereotypes? For this, we observed the programs displayed by the Free Electoral Broadcast Airtime (Horário Gratuito Político Eleitoral, hereafter HGPE) of the candidates from the typology proposed by Panke (2016), which comprises the association of stereotypes of women’s roles in society that, mobilized together, are a specific type of candidate.
