Descripción
Sumario:This work presents a critical analysis of the representation of familial homophobia in the novel A palavra que resta (2021), by Stênio Gardel, with the main focus being to reflect on the imposition of a unique family configuration based on heteronormativity. The noise caused by this representation is fundamental for us to understand how structural machismo operates in people's lives, especially in the homosexual subject. In this context, the family environment, which should be a welcoming place, becomes a place of intolerance and repression. In this sense, it was intended to develop a wide prism of discussions, having at the forefront theories that relate literature and genre.
