| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is to present and contextualize the inveterate dialogue between theories that approach the concept and its relations as a fundamental element in the structuring of Information Organization schemes. For this, a literature review was carried out on conventional and electronic information sources in the areas of Information Science, Communication and Language Sciences. The Theory of classification was evidenced, considering specifically the contributions of Ranganathan, derived from the analytic-synthetic method and the multidimensional approach. Also, the Terminology Theory and its different approaches, highlighting the communicative aspect of the term. Complementarily, it was followed by the Concept Theory and the definitions about thesauri, as the first indexing language that is more flexible and adaptable to the digital context |
