Descrição
Resumo:Objective: This study aims to articulate the role of Ricardo, the main character of a Lygia Fagundes Telles short story with the psychoanalitic theory in order to discuss why a person that seems to love another can kill or hurt him. Method: The authors used in this research were Freud, Winnicott and Melanie Klein, and their concepts of narcissism, false self, a good enough mother, schizoparanoid disorder, depressive disorder, projective identification and envy. Results: We start making a summary of the short story then we discuss it. Conclusion: The research demonstrated that the attack or the destruction of the beloved subject could be a fail or even a trauma suffered by the subject in the childhood. It also could be a kind of desperate action to escape from this other who causes him such suffering that can be felt as a persecutory sensation.
