| Resumo: | Remote data and geographic information system (GIS) integration has the ability to provide information, evaluate and monitor Ramsar sites and other wetlands (AUs) in time and space. Thus, knowing that Brazil has to carry out, in practice, the Ramsar Convention guidelines, guidelines for the planning of inventory, evaluation and monitoring of AUs using remote data and GIS are necessary. In this paper, integrated steps and guidelines were defined to ensure an inventory of UAs and to meet the actions of the current National Strategy for Conservation and Sustainable Use of Wetlands in Brazil. |
