| Sumario: | Introduction: Caring is the essence of human existence. However, in health services, it is noted that professionals who still maintains a detachment behavior, with limits to dialogue and critical reflection and loss of care relationship as the focus of health care. Objective: To describe the reflection of professional dyad health / customer in the epistemological perspective of care, from the debate of the movie “The Doctor”. Materials and Methods: It is a paper of critical thinking based on Halldorsdottir’s Theory that addresses the five ways of being with each other, including caring and non-caring behaviors. Results and Discussion: There was a predominance of biocide, biostatic and biopassive care at the expense of bioactive and biogenic, demonstrating the technification care shaped by the biomedical model. Conclusions: It is necessary to enhance the care practices in the context of health work so that it could be capable of producing degrees of autonomy that improve the quality of their lives. |
