Sumario:Cinema directs, on its input, an impression of reality based on empirical experience of the director and the society to which he belongs. In its condition of discourse, the cinema, as well as narrative forms, covers a statement and a spectator. Unlike a novel, the “movie grammar” is composed by a number of factors such as image, sound, music, among others that are organized to tell a story. However, the way these components are recorded in pictures and ordered on a narrative sequence is not unique. Therefore, we can think about what the purpose of an aesthetic choice is usual in the movies Pra Frente, Brasil and Batismo de Sangue to represent the Brazilian military dictatorship
