| Sumario: | The article aimed to demonstrate the use of a sustainable alternative, through a water collection system from air plants for the daily reuse of water in a hostel in the city of Boa Vista - Roraima. The methodology used consisted of an on-site visit to check the problems related to water waste, making and installing 05 (five) water catchment reservoirs, each 1m long and with a capacity of 8 liters of water storage, totaling 40 liters of water. water collected by the system for use in building cleaning and irrigation of plants in the enterprise. Two months after the installation of the reservoirs, it was possible to notice a 20% decrease in the water bill. Posters were made to raise awareness of the guests, regarding the conscious use and amount of water waste, they were posted in the bathrooms. It is concluded that after the installation of the reservoirs there was a reuse of 40 liters of water per day, in addition to raising awareness among guests about the conscious consumption of water. |
