Sumario:The COVID-19 has intensified the use of telecommuting around the world, as well as research and articles on the topic. To identify the intellectual structure and current research lines of these works, a bibliometric review was carried out considering research published in the last twenty years and privileging the most recent ones. Results indicate that studies on telework have intellectual bases organized in (1) describing its advantages and disadvantages, (2) analyzing the balance between personal and professional life, (3) analyzing its impact on organizational indicators and (4) discussing professional isolation. Current lines of research in telework emphasize (1) the relationship between telework, professional isolation, and organizational identification, (2) the impact on the teleworker, and (3) leadership and support for teleworkers. Main theoretical gaps identified, it is suggested that future research should focus on the analysis of the effects of telework on the culture and on the identification of its members with organizations, and on the results of telework according to different management and leadership styles.
