| Resumo: | Objective: present a picture of patent records registered in the curricular base of the Lattes Platform of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. Methodology: Initially, the process of selection, extraction and organization of the collected curricula is presented. Subsequently, the treatment of deposit numbers and their validation with records of international patent repositories, with Espacenet. And finally, the characterization of the collected and validated data set. Results: It was possible to obtain an overview of patent registrations in the Lattes Platform curricula, as the most representative areas of knowledge in the patent filing, as well as an overview of their proponents. Conclusions: The indicators raised highlight that the Lattes Platform, in addition to scientific information, has technological information, which can be retrieved and used as subsidies for research on technological development.
