Income distribution in Brazil, in 1980, by Federation Units
Based on recent census data issued by IBGE, this article analyzes the income distributionin Brazil, also by state. It attempts to understand the inequality in rural areas andthe average earnings of the economically active Brazilians over 10 years old. JEL Classification: H31; J30; J10.
