| Sumario: | Cysticercosis is a parasitic disease caused by the larva (Cysticercus cellulosae) of pork tapeworm. It is more common in the brain, subcutaneous tissue, muscles and eyes. We report a rare presentation of this disease, affecting a previously healthy 7-year-old boy, in left lateral margin of the tongue, which was histopatologically diagnosed and surgically treated. |
