| Resumo: | This article presents the analysis and procedure carried out for the selection of a Very Low Power wind generator that is required for the supply of electricity to a house in the rural sector, which is located in the Province of Cañar - Cantón El Tambo - El Tambo parish. The value of the Annual Average Wind Speed for the site was taken from the WIND ATLAS OF ECUADOR. In order to obtain these results, the value of the cell temperature and the transmission of heat by radiation were obtained, with a single value of solar radiation and a float height; but to characterize its behavior at different values of solar radiation and different values of float height, a mathematical model was carried out to characterize this phenomenon. The curves that characterize the behavior of the phenomenon were obtained by programming the mathematical model in GNU octave. |
