Thus, this article analyzed the space-time dynamics of violent crimes against women and associated factors, which occurred from 2014 to 2019 in the municipality of São Luís (MA). This is a quantitative and qualitative research with data from the “Program for the Evaluation and Monitoring of Violence against Women in Greater São Paulo”. Spatial analysis was used to generate cartographic products in addition to graphs. It was observed that the crimes analyzed in São Luís cluster, above all, in the urban region of the municipality, with intense use of firearms. Concentrating mostly at night, between 18:00 and 24:00, perpetrated mainly against women between 19 and 40 years of age. It was concluded that violence against women in São Luís is worrying and alarming, requiring the expansion of public policies that cover the entire municipality, with efficiency and effectiveness of public equipment.A violência contra a mulher é uma violação aos Direitos Humanos de graves consequências, portanto, deve ser monitorada através das políticas públicas de segurança e saúde e subsidiada por distintas áreas de conhecimento. Desta forma, o presente artigo analisou a dinâmica espaço-temporal dos crimes violentos contra as mulheres e fatores associados, ocorridos no período de 2014 a 2019, no município de São Luís (MA). Trata-se de uma pesquisa quanti-qualitativa com dados provenientes do “Programa de Avaliação e Monitoramento da Violência contra Mulheres na Grande São Luís”. Utilizou-se análise espacial para geração de produtos cartográficos além dos gráficos.
