| Summary: | This article aims to expose some initial research questions, relating to the processes of preservation of cultural material heritage in the cities of Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul/BR) and La Plata (Buenos Aires/AR). For that, besides the analysis of laws and other written documents, it is planned to use Oral History in the future, which is seen as a methodological resource to clarify gaps left by written records, and to give "voice" to the historical actors who have the experience of these processes. The understanding of conservation initiatives can be valuable for the mapping of new actions aimed at the revitalization of their cultural-material heritage. |
