Resumo:The research in question is delimited in a brief reflection on the communication studies, and journalism as a subject of investigation and its mediation procedures. This methodological thrust was produced from the analysis of journalistic discourse and voices of prostitutes, both located in acriana capital. Taking as its starting point the discussion proposed the concept of discourse in Michel Foucault (1972), here is the attempt to problematize the study of communication and its social interfaces.
