| Resumo: | This article aims to develop sex-segmented mortality tables for valid public servants under the own social security regime of Ceará. Data from administrative records for the period 2013 to 2017 were utilized, pertaining to civil public servants affiliated with the state Executive Branch. The methodology included data consistency analysis, calculation of death probabilities, and adjustment using a variant of the TOPALS relational model. The estimated male and female mortality tables proved to be more effective in predicting the mortality of state RPPS beneficiaries compared to other mortality tables. Additionally, the life expectancy of state RPPS beneficiaries was generally higher than that of the national population, with differences exceeding 10% at the age of 60. |
