| Resumo: | The purpose of this article is to foment the debate about the relantionship between the napolitan philosopher Giambattista Vico (1668-1744) and the humanistics knowledges, namely Studia humanitatis. From his reflections about the human nature, especially on his greatest work, the Scienza Nuova, it is possibile identified an ample articulation with great humanities disciplines as Jurisprudence, History, Literature, Philology, Poetry and Rethoric. This effort multidisciplinary led the philosopher to configure a compendium of discussies going from the question about the origin of poetry, passing trough critics to natural law and reflecting about the origins of languages and letters. It is evident that the context in wich Vico was inserted is located in a Naples from clear effervescence of cartesian Philosophy, it wouldn't be strange that the search of a valoration this humanistics knowledges go trough the italian philosopher reflections. Therefore, it's on this articulation between this that disciplines from humanities that the latancy philosophy of Vico is attested, and with this, has the mechanisms to comprehend the facts involved on trajetory from that the philosopher called human gender. |
