Sumario:Today it is a challenge to want to increase productivity in the agricultural sector, so the incorporation of technologies is used to manage production processes in order to increase crop yields and minimize costs and labor. , this article has the purpose of disseminating the results of a thesis in the area of ​​technology that consisted in the development of a web system for the management of the main tasks of harvesting the banana crop in the Andrea farm located in the Manuel J. Calle parish of the La Troncal of the province of Cañar, Ecuador; being the biggest inconvenience that the company presents is not correctly keeping the data that is extracted from the harvest process, this makes it difficult to keep track of the activities and the number of boxes of bananas that are produced on a day of shipment. , prior to the construction of the system, the analysis process was carried out to determine the functional requirements and restrictions to then move on to the design phase of the web system and in turn carry out the construction for which tools such as PHP and MySQL were used. All this under the software project development methodology known as XP or Extreme Programming, which was used as a framework for the generation of software projects, which allowed obtaining a quality final product. The purpose of the implementation of the web system is to provide the business with reports such as the materials that are being used and the number of bunches that are being harvested and those that are optimal for packaging, so that based on this information it can be make the best decisions.
