Descripción
Sumario:Flaws in grout mortar, are commonly associated with the presence of other serious pathologys, such as the detach of the coating. Grouts first function is to fill the joints of a ceramic coating, however, the mechanical loads and chemical properties require that the mortar has other properties in addition to that capacity. Combined with the demand for more efficient construction materials, the inadequate destination of residues generated by human consumption and industrial processes, of which, due to their difficult degradation, the polymers stand out. Several studies have been successful in the incorporation of polymeric residues in cement matrices. This research had as proposal the modification of grouting mortars with polimer residuals, verifying their performance through fresh state tests, hardened tests, as well as additional non - standardized tests in order to evaluate the performance of applied grouting mortar. The results indicated that the incorporation of polimer residue into grout mortars has promising properties of application, besides favoring the residue destination.
