description This article aims to analyze the relationship between civil society and the State in Guinea-Bissau since the first general elections in 1994 to the last election in 2019. We intend to investigate the current national political scene of Guinea-Bissau, which has passed by various internal conflicts involving civil society, the state and political parties, the role that the State reserves to civil society at the time of resolution of internal conflicts. Thus, we will seek to understand the contribution of civil society within the Guinean politics and relations between civil society and the state. The state in Guinea-Bissau lies on the global scene from a particular configuration that combines three levels, which are: the relationship between the State, NGOs and community associations, driven by projects financed by international development agencies. Pretendemos investigar el escenario político nacional actual de Guinea-Bisáu, que ha pasado por diversos conflictos internos que involucran a la sociedad civil, el Estado y los partidos políticos, así como el rol que el Estado reserva a la sociedad civil en el momento de la resolución de los conflictos internos. Así, buscaremos comprender el aporte de la sociedad civil dentro de la política guineana y sus relaciones con el Estado. El Estado de Guinea-Bisáu se ubica en el escenario global a partir de una configuración particular que combina tres niveles, que son: la relación entre el Estado, las ONG y las asociaciones comunitarias, impulsadas por proyectos financiados por agencias internacionales de desarrollo. Las relaciones entre el Estado, las organizaciones y los grupos de la sociedad civil son preexistentes a la independencia.O presente artigo tem como objetivo principal analisar a relação entre a sociedade civil e o Estado na Guiné-Bissau, desde as primeiras eleições gerais, em 1994, até a eleição mais recente, em 2019. Pretendemos investigar, no atual cenário político nacional da Guiné-Bissau, que tem passado por vários conflitos internos envolvendo a sociedade civil, o Estado e os partidos políticos, qual o papel que o Estado reserva à sociedade civil no momento de resolução dos conflitos internos. Dessa forma, buscaremos compreender a contribuição da sociedade civil dentro da política guineense e as relações entre a sociedade civil e o Estado.
