| Sumario: | This article provides an analysis of the content of seven History textbooks for 9th grade of Elementary School regarding the treatment given to the National Truth Commission (CNV). On the 60th anniversary of the 1964 coup, we seek to understand how the real and symbolic clashes and disputes surrounding the Commission are translated didactically in school manuals approved by the National Textbook Program (PNLD). Among the results of the analysis, it is noted the uncritical adoption of the "two demons theory" in some textbooks. |
