| Sumario: | The work aims to discuss the entanglement between the fields of Archaeology and Museology, its theoretical approaches, methodologies, and public policies referring to the preservation and management of archaeological heritage. The reflection relies on academic debates concerning the themes of cultural heritage, social memory, territories, communities and local development. We present data from archaeological investigation and university extension activities that have been carried out in the Parque Municipal Arqueológico Morro da Queimada, intending to broaden the discussion of the work strategies adopted in the daily confrontation of challenges to the research and management of the archaeological heritage of the Serra de Ouro Preto. |
