The result of the ANP filter indicated that there are economic signs of cartel in this market. On the other hand, the local Gaussian correlation suggested that this hypothesis was accepted for small time intervals. The volatility model indicated that the average LPG resale price in Goiânia-GO increased during the collusion. However, the reduction in variance was not corroborated. The MCE results indicated evidence of economic signs of cartel, only in the short term. The instability of the cartels may explain, at least in part, these results. Some agreements can prevail for very short intervals, and those that exist for prolonged periods often engage in price warfare as retaliation for uncooperative behavior.O objetivo deste artigo foi analisar os indícios econômicos de cartel na revenda de GLP, em Goiânia-GO, de maio de 2004 a junho de 2020. Utilizou-se o filtro da Agência Nacional de Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis (ANP); a Correlação Local Gaussiana; um modelo de volatilidade de preços; e o Modelo de Correção de Erros (MCE). O resultado do filtro da ANP indicou existência de indícios econômicos de cartel. A correlação local sugeriu que essa hipótese foi aceita para pequenos intervalos de tempo. O modelo de volatilidade indicou aumento no preço médio de revenda de GLP, durante o período de conluio. Os resultados do MCE evidenciaram indícios econômicos de cartel, no curto prazo.
