| Sumario: | Machiavelli is not usually considered a philosopher of morality, as Nietzsche is not usually taken into account as a political philosopher. Even so, there are few studies that attempt to make a connection between the authors. And this is the purpose of this article: point of convergence between Machiavelli and Nietzsche, especially in how the concept will to power, developed by philologist, has appropriate elements of the concept of virtù Florentine. Presented the premise, this paper will attempt to show the existing affinities between the two authors, focusing on understanding the concept of virtù to Machiavelli, and the will to power, to Nietzsche. Soon we will see how the Florentine is understood from a Nietzschean perspective. |
