Descripción
Sumario:In order to avoid redundant requests in the context of TCE-RN systems and improve the response time of these applications, it was proposed in this study the use of data Cache with REDIS for data that does not change frequently and has a high demand for requests. Three scenarios were analyzed to quantify the performance using a distributed cache: 1) no cache and no specific DTOs; 2) using cache and specific DTOs; 3) only using specific DTOs. The performance study uses the Apache JMeter, with the metrics of response time, throughput, and size of request responses. It is possible to affirm that the use of distributed cache optimized both the response time and the throughput compared to the model without cache. Considering that all TCE-RN systems currently perform these Redundant Requests, the use of the cache has reduced the high load in reading/writing operations in databases that centralize information.
