Sumario:Executive Secretary professionals have a fundamental role in the development of various functions in companies, even though the labor market for them is still very limited. Today, many organizations - of all sizes - seek to stay in the market, therefore, invest in quality and responsibility in relation to their services. Some of them go further and bet on people able to suit the business demands. The present article aims to develop a study that points out the skills of the Executive Secretary Professional and their contribution within public and private organizations in the city of Mamanguape. The research is characterized as exploratory, with a qualitative and quantitative content and a data obtained through the application of questionnaires. The theoretical approach is based on studies in the Secretariat area, among which the followings stand out: Mata (2009), Natalense (1998), Neiva and D'Elia (2005), among others. By analyzing the questionnaires, it is generally understood that the participants occupy important places and identify their multifunctionality and active participation within their business sector.
