Descrição
Resumo:This article aims to identify and critically analyze the risk factors that are associated with falls in the elderly population according to the scientific literature. An integrative review conducted at the VHL, LILACS, SciELO, CINAHL and Google Scholar resulted in a sample of 10 publications. Extrinsic and intrinsic risk factors were identified, which describe a multidimensionality of falls, and the importance of nurses associated with other professionals, whether in the hospital or in primary care.
