| Resumo: | Women In The Rubber Plantations Of The State Of Amazonas: sociability and everyday life Descritos pela historiografia regional como território masculino os seringais do Amazonas povoavam o imaginário sociocultural como lugar inóspito e selvagem. Lugar de doenças, brutalidades e de árduo trabalho. Os seringais se constituíram, ao longo do tempo, essencialmente masculinos. Entretanto, com a explosão comercial do látex, com a onda imigratória para o Amazonas na busca pela riqueza que jorrava farta pelo Rio Amazonas e seus afluentes, eis que surge na documentação pesquisada a visibilidade feminina. Nas páginas dos periódicos as mulheres surgiram numa pluralidade de possibilidades colocando e expondo seu cotidiano no mundo dos seringais. Poder-se-ia dizer que são imagens difusas sobre o viver feminino. Contudo, a sua maneira, as mulheres se fizeram presentesno mundo dos seringais.Palavras-Chave: Seringal; Cotidiano;Imagens Femininas. AbstractDescribed by regional historiography as a male territory, the rubber tree plantations of the state of Amazonas used to figure in sócio-cultural imagery as a wild and inhospitable place. A place of diseases, brutality and hard work. The rubber tree groves were formed, over time, as a primarily male environment. However, with the commercial explosion of latex, along with the wave of immigration towards the state of Amazonas in search of the wealth that flowed fed by the Amazon River and its tributaries, the researched archives brings to light a visible female presence. In the pages of magazines, women assume a plurality of possibilities, revealing their daily lives in the world of rubber plantations. It could be said that the printed images compose a hazy portrait of female life. However, in their own way, women were present in the world of the rubber.Keywords: Rubber plantation; Everyday life; Female images. |
