Descripción
Sumario:This article deals with the debates initiated in critical studies that analyze the effects of meaning in the work of Pierre Loti. Starting from the presence of the colonial discourse in the author's work, we promote a dialogue with the interpretative possibilities elaborated by the studies mentioned here. To do so, we pay attention to the historical-political dynamics that underlie the critical text in order to promote counter-pedagogies to Eurocentric epistemic domination in the context of literary criticism and analysis.
