| Sumario: | This paper is inserted in the field of studies on social movements and the sociology of militancy. The purpose of the text is summarized in an effort to analyze sociologically the diverse motives that can lead to political demobilization, frustration and militant disengagement. The empirical material that serves as a basis for the conclusions and / or indications presented is part of an earlier work that focused on the constitution and political action of a movement that was known in the south of the country as the Federal University Movement . Such a movement is the fruit of broader historical-political-social processes; is born around “political opportunities”; it is guided by common guidelines to a series of rural social movements geographically developed in the Meso-region of the Great Southern Border; and is demobilized, due to a series of factors that will be approached in this paper. |
