| Resumo: | The article explores the relationship between spirituality and religion through literature review and qualitative research. With 22 participants, it emphasizes the familial influence on spirituality, a preference for dogmatic solutions based on biblical principles, and the prevalence of Christianity (86.4%), with Catholics (4.5%) and Umbandists (9.1%) represented. Despite hints of new spiritualities, the research confirms the existence of a spirituality tied to religious belief, institutional and submissive to dogmas. Overall, 95.5% of participants maintain connections to their family's religious tradition. |
