| Resumo: | The article presents a review of the main concepts and reflections on intercultural education in the construction of food sovereignty in global South, in the face of contemporary challenges such as food systems and climate change. For the search, the descriptors “agroecology”, “intercultural education” and “food sovereignty” were used in virtual databases, resulting in 20 articles for full reading, compiled in three categories: (I) Decolonial approach and the rescue of memories and food heritage of african and latin american peoples; (II) Intercultural education as a space for cultural approaches and distances, not only bringing about barbarism, but enabling dialogue and exchange; (III) Agroecology as an “antidote” and a alternative paradigm for exiting the crisis. The analysis elucidates the transformation process, based on collective pedagogies essential for natural regeneration and the construction of food sovereignty. |
