| Resumo: | This research aimed to investigate the causes of pleasure and suffering of delivery people by delivery apps. This is a qualitative research, carried out through semi-structured interviews with 11 app delivery people. The interview script was inspired by the inventory on work and risks of illness. The results indicate that work provides pleasure and suffering, although situations in which delivery workers expose feelings of suffering stand out. The motivations are survival and the absence of bureaucracy to start the activity. The damage caused by work is related to the emotional cost, lack of motivation, desire to give up, loneliness and body aches. |
