| Resumo: | It analyzes the neoliberal crisis precipitated in Chile and its loss of legitimacy as of October 2019 when social movements burst into the streets challenging the political system as a whole. It addresses the contradictions between social movements and traditional political parties and the development of a new political culture. It examines the process of the Constitutional Convention, its conformation, and historical projection to overcome the constitution bequeathed by Pinochet. And the participation of indigenous peoples and gender parity. It evaluates the systematic violation of Human Rights during the social rebellion and the role of President Sebastián Piñera in this regard. It explores the upcoming presidential election and the prospect of choosing a moderate left-wing or political center government. |
