Sumario:The brazilian religiosity is plural, sincretic and multifaceted. Despite this fact, the coexistence between organizations and people from different beliefs is still marked with prejudice, mostly against religions of African background. One of the possibilities to face this picture is the implementation of inter-religious dialogues. In this paper we present one initial justification to inter-religious dialogues based on Umbanda’s point of view.
