| Summary: | The theme of this article is crimes against women and the efficiency of public policies. The following problem was investigated: Is it possible to protect women from violence by using public policies? Are the penalties imputed to the perpetrators sufficient for the woman to see justice happen? He considered the following hypothesis: "There are many public policies that curb the crimes and violence that women may suffer. However, there is a hypothesis that the answer would be negative, because public policies are not used and applied efficiently. " The overall objective is "to evaluate how effective public policies can be in combating crimes against women." The specific objectives are: "to analyze the types of violence suffered by women"; "Discuss appropriate solutions in confronting women in the face of violence suffered"; "Research how public policy has helped combat crimes". |
