Here they are presented, the history of the neighborhood, the discussion of the notion of bohemia and its meaning in Santa Tereza. The concepts of landscape and gentrification were articulated to the discussion of bohemia and heritage, pointing risks and potentialities of this association. The Masters thesis is the result of a bibliographical and documental research in institutional and personal archives in the city of Belo Horizonte, and the production of sources through interviews, conversations and participant observations.A boemia do bairro Santa Tereza em Belo Horizonte levou à produção desta dissertação de mestrado. A pesquisa se deu no sentido de compreender o que funciona como lastro para esse atributo do bairro, qual a trajetória que levou à imagem boêmia que Santa Tereza tem na atualidade, tendo como principais suportes e símbolos, no momento da pesquisa, os bares. E ainda, em que medida a boemia pode ser, de fato, um argumento pertinente para que o bairro seja considerado patrimônio cultural no âmbito da cidade. Estão aqui apresentadas, portanto, a história do bairro, a discussão da noção de boemia e seu significado em Santa Tereza. Foram articuladas as ideias de boemia e patrimônio e à discussão de paisagem e gentrificação, apontando riscos e potencialidades.
